About us

Eldblóm is a Icelandic project created by fireworksshowdesigner and Icelandic dancer Sigga Soffia. The project explores how dance became product design. Eldblóm is currently expanding with a few products on the market and many ready for production. Eldblóma started as a seed company - delivering customers a small version of Sigga Soffías flower installation from Reykjavíks City Center. The flower installation premiered at Reykjavík Arts Festival, a grand project: Eldblóm Choreography for fireworks and flowers - the same performance/choreographic score for a grand display fireworks show and a 80 square meter flowerbed. "Take away" flower boxes were made from the original artwork giving customers the chance to grow their own version of the flowerinnstallation at their home. Later Sigga Soffia returned to the flowerbed after realising most of the flowers fireworks were inspired by are edible - she then collaborated with an Icelandic Distillery creating the artisan drink Eldblóma Elexir. First premiered in 2022 the drink and the Eldblóma perfume where presented together and sold out, in 2023 new larger batches where made that also sold out. Now Eldblóm is growing and we can't wait to be able to show you all the amazing things we have designed... Sustainability and making things the right way is extremely important to us, we have a strong focus on how we can make products that we are proud of from handpicking ingredients to growing our flowers ourself in Iceland from seed we aim to bring more adventures and beauty into your lives. Now you can make an Icelandic Spritz with Eldblóm- Elixir, you can feel the scent of natural fireworks, plant your own fireworks show with EldblómKaBLOMM flower box and wrap you presents in artwork.

Here we will show the journey of Eldblóm - from premiering the drink and scent at Design March 2022, - being a speaker and host of Designtalks 2023 to scaling the product - and making waves in the Westfjords.
